Traysealer SPP4A machine is used for packaging food and technical products into barrier trays whose shape and size is determined by the type of the applied sealing mold. Following machine can work with containers with maximum dimensions of 365 x 275mm, and a depth up to 100mm. The depth of the package slots simply regulated by using filling plates.

The standard machine is equipped with a single sealing mold – individually designed and produced according to the packaging sample supplied, or approved by the client. Molds are easily replaceable, and there is a possibility of installing different molds for packages of various shapes.

Standard machine is equipped with photoelectric positioning system (photocell), that sets the position of the film overprints in the correct place.

The machine cycle includes:

  • placing of the trays with products in the mold slots
  • insertion of drawer
  • lowering the upper part of the mold, to close the chamber
  • generating vacuum in the package
  • modified atmosphere dosage
  • packaging sealing
  • cutting off the film
  • opening the chamber
  • unwinding film rolls for the next cycle
  • protrusion of the drawer

Placing trays, insertion and protrusion of the drawer is manual. All the other operations are automatically triggered, following the electronic controller settings. The machine is capable of packaging products in modified atmosphere (MAP) after vacuum generation, or that step can be omitted so the composition and pressure of the atmosphere doesn’t change.

The device is equipped with a microprocessor controller with digital vacuum measurement, that is able to save up to 25 different packaging programs, and name them. Each program allows to edit all key parameters of the packaging process (vacuum [%], gas [%], sealing temperature [◦C], sealing time [s] etc.). During the packaging process, parameters are displayed in real time on the backlit LCD display.

Additional controller features:

– Waiting period: allows to automatically abort the pumping process in case the chamber pressure remains the same in a set period of time. This function is important especially when packing products with high moisture content – it’s meant to get optimal vacuum level preventing unnecessary generation of steam.

– Pause vacuum: this function allows to set pumping intervals, to get more gentle, and accurate evacuation of the air hidden in porous products, and from the products with air bubbles. Function adjustable parameters are the vacuum value, that triggers the pumping interval, and the interval time (function available on request).

– Cycle counter with reset function

Automatic Traysealers

LPT200

LPT traysealers are automated machines designed for packing food and non-food products into barrier trays. Packing process starts with placing the trays on the chain conveyor in the loading area. After that, the packs are inserted into packing chamber. After closing the chamber, packing process starts (according to previously programmed settings).  Machine gives a possibility of vacuum packing with MAP gas dosing, gas flushing or packing the products without modification of pressure or composition of atmosphere. After sealing the tray with the film cover, film remnants are being cut off and disposed.

The chamber opens and conveyor pushes packed trays outside of the chamber. Trays leave the machine with gravity roll table, or conveyor belt (optional).

Packs shape and size is determined by type of the used sealing die. Machine LPT200 can work with containers with maximal dimensions of 245×320 mm and depth of 100 mm. Packing depth is adjustable. The machine can be equipped with film positioning printing system (using photocell).

LPT 200 packing cycle:

LPT200

LPT traysealers are automated machines designed for packing food and non-food products into barrier trays. Packing process starts with placing the trays on the chain conveyor in the loading area. After that, the packs are inserted into packing chamber. After closing the chamber, packing process starts (according to previously programmed settings).  Machine gives a possibility of vacuum packing with MAP gas dosing, gas flushing or packing the products without modification of pressure or composition of atmosphere. After sealing the tray with the film cover, film remnants are being cut off and disposed.

The chamber opens and conveyor pushes packed trays outside of the chamber. Trays leave the machine with gravity roll table, or conveyor belt (optional).

Packs shape and size is determined by type of the used sealing die. Machine LPT200 can work with containers with maximal dimensions of 245×320 mm and depth of 100 mm. Packing depth is adjustable. The machine can be equipped with film positioning printing system (using photocell).

LPT 200 packing cycle:

  1. Placement of trays on the feeder
  2. Putting the trays inside the chamber
  3. Closing the chamber
  4. Creating vacuum inside the chamber*
  5. Filling the chamber with gas / gases*
  6. Cutting the cover film
  7. Sealing the trays
  8. Air-locking the chamber
  9. Opening of the chamber
  10. Collection of packed trays
  11. Run the ruler and roll the foil to the next cycle

*) depending on the packing function currently set

The device requires operator presence for step 1, to filling the trays with products, to replace used film roll, to periodic removal of film remnants and to inspect proper machine working. Operators place during the trays placement is on the both sides of the tray feeder.
